Huellas House (Casita Huellas) is a beachfront two-bedroom house on the Islote coast of Arecibo, on Puerto Rico's north shore. Two queen bedrooms, one bathroom and a full kitchen sleep four, and the whole place opens onto a covered oceanfront terrace looking straight down the reef. Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace and free parking make it workable for a longer north-shore swell trip; the draw is that you can read the lineup with coffee in hand and be in the water in minutes.

Huellas House sits on the Islote coast of Arecibo, on Puerto Rico's north shore — about 1 to 1.5 miles from La Marginal / El Rastrial, the reef break the WSL and ISA have hosted North America Qualifying Series and World Surfing Games events on. It's a short drive or bikeable ride, not a walk from the terrace. Puerto Rico's north shore works on North Atlantic groundswell, so the surf season here is the northern-hemisphere winter half of the year.
Reef break — booties and local knowledge are worth having at El Rastrial. Arecibo's wider coastline has softer beach-break options nearby when La Marginal is oversized. A car, bike, or short rideshare gets you from Huellas House to the break.
